Open and Transparent Quality Mark 2016/17

Independent Audit Committee Member

The Strategic Alliance has made significant progress in helping us provide a more effective and efficient policing service across, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.

The Alliance Chief Constables and Police and Crime Commissioners have now agreed to bring together their respective Audit Committees in a single committee, to better reflect the way policing is delivered. Therefore, the existing Joint Audit Committee (JAC) for Devon and Cornwall and the Joint Independent Audit Committee (JIAC) for Dorset have now been formed into the new Independent Audit Committee.

The recruitment campaign to appoint six members to the new committee has commenced and is open to applicants from across the South West Region.
