The communications and customer engagement manager is responsible for keeping residents of Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly informed about the strategic direction of the force and the activities of the office.

Through regular polling and consultation the communications and engagement team also enables the public to have their say in the strategic direction of Devon and Cornwall Police, manages the customer service function, publishes the annual report and runs the OPCC's Councillor Advocate Scheme.
