In April 2015 the police and crime commissioner took responsibility for the provision of victims services. Since 2021 the Victim Support is commissioned to deliver services to victims of crime.

There are lots of people of all different ages, offering their services to the Devon and Cornwall's policing family as volunteers. Special Constables, cadets, independent custody volunteers, all play their part in keeping our communities safe and protecting victims.

If we receive a request for information that we do not hold, but that we believe may be held by Devon and Cornwall Police, we will respond to that request by signposting to the Devon and Cornwall Police website.
