In April 2015 the police and crime commissioner took responsibility for the provision of victims services. Since 2021 the Victim Support is commissioned to deliver services to victims of crime.

There are lots of people of all different ages, offering their services to the Devon and Cornwall's policing family as volunteers. Special Constables, cadets, independent custody volunteers, all play their part in keeping our communities safe and protecting victims.

Members of the Police and Crime Commissioner's team will be attending the 2017 Takeover Challenge in Exeter.

Each year the Children's Commissioner runs a Takeover Challenge which provides a chance for children and young people to join various organisations for the day.
