Alison joined Avon and Somerset’s Sue Mountstevens, Dorset’s deputy PCC Colin Pipe, Gloucestershire’s Martin Surl, and Wiltshire and Swindon’s Angus Macpherson.

The PCC’s, the only three independents in the country and two Conservatives, agreed that party politics would play no part in working together. At the meeting they discussed the performance of many of the regional collaborations already in place from major crime to south west forensics.

The next meeting for the south west PCCs will be held in Bridgwater on July 20th.
