Deputy Chief Constable Paul Netherton OBE

Paul Netherton OBE is Deputy Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall Police. In addition to his role with the force he is the national police lead for resilience, emergency planning, flooding and risk management. For the past eight years he has chaired the South West Resilience Forum.

Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez said the partnership work exemplified by him lay at the heart of her police and crime plan.

“Paul has worked tirelessly for years to keep people safe by ensuring that organisations are resilient and connected,” she said.

“I am delighted that his efforts have been recognised in the New Year’s honours list and look forward to working closely with him in 2020.”
