Commissioner issues updated statement on death of Bobbi-Anne McLeod

Alison Hernandez, Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, said: "Devon and Cornwall Police have acted swiftly and committed their full resources to this case and, as a result, a man has now been charged in connection to the death of Bobbi-Anne McLeod. I  want to thank the police on behalf of the city of Plymouth.

"This is an active case so we must not speculate about any details at this stage and I would urge people to be respectful online.
"I'd like to thank the people of Plymouth for their concern and incredible efforts to assist the police.

“There is a vigil tonight at Plymouth Hoe which will allow Bobbi-Anne’s family, friends and well-wishers a chance to reflect. I will be joining the people of Plymouth tonight at the vigil.”
