In April 2015 the police and crime commissioner took responsibility for the provision of victims services. Since 2021 the Victim Support is commissioned to deliver services to victims of crime.

Minister hears concerns about policing in Devon and Cornwall

PCC Tony Hogg and Chief Constable meet with policing Minister Mike Penning in Exeter

PCC Tony Hogg has been discussing Devon and Cornwall issues with the policing Minister Mike Penning during his visit to Exeter.

Chief Constable Shaun Sawyer was also part of the meeting as some of the challenges facing policing in the far South West came under the microscope. Cuts in Government funding leave the Devon and Cornwall force facing a budget shortfall that could see several hundred staff and officers lost over the next 4 years.
